Belmont Biscuits Oaties Milk Chocolate Biscuits Review

The Belmont Biscuits Milk Chocolate Oaties biscuits are sold in Aldi and are a brand of chocolate hobnobs, so I thought I’d give them a try as I’d hate to be missing out on something great!

The pack weighs 300grams and costs 41p. At 476 calories per 100g the whole pack is 1428 calories (oops, I should go easy with these then). I’ve been eating three as a portion, but it looks like that’s just a tad greedy and unnecessary.

Pricewise, for comparison, the Aldi biscuits are about 14p/100g and the McVitie’s chocolate hobnobs are 57.3p/100g at full price (about 38p/100g if you wait for a special offer price). So, by weight, the Belmont Oaties are 1/3rd of the price of the big brand names.

Compared to McVitie’s Chocolate Hobnobs, the oaty biscuit part of these biscuits is harder on the teeth. The chocolate is fine. As a biscuit they’re nice enough and I’m happy to eat these and wouldn’t choose the McVitie’s version over them as there isn’t that much difference (except in price of course).

I’d certainly recommend them to others, unless you have small teeth 🙂
