Favorina Extremely Chocolatey Biscuits

So glad to see these Favorina Extremely Chocolatey Biscuits for sale again in Lidl this year. I’ve had them for the last two years as my special Christmas biscuits treat so was looking out for them.

The biscuits are nice and crunchy and the chocolate is thick. Well worth checking out if you need a small gift, or if you’re home alone for Christmas, but just want a nice biscuit selection.

The pack weighs 450 grams and they cost £2.69 a box (59.7p/100g)! On the reverse of the box is a picture of each type of biscuit and it’s name, giving you a clue to the flavour and type of biscuit. These biscuits say they are suitable for vegetarians.

The biscuits in the Favorina Extremely Chocolatey Biscuit Selection box are:

  • Milk Chocolate Crunch
  • Milk Chocolate Shortcake Round
  • Chocolate Marble Star Viennese
  • Chunky Dark Chocolate Shortcake Ring
  • White Chocolate Shortcake Ring
  • Dark Chocolate Coated Halo
  • Milk Chocolate Viennese Finger
  • Chunky Milk Chocolate Shortcake Ring
  • Milk Chocolate Shortcake Ring
  • Milk Chocolate Orange Cream Sundae
  • Milk Chocolate Vanilla Cream Sundae
  • Milk Chocolate Fudge Cream Sundae

You get at least two of each biscuit and three of about four of them. To be honest, I didn’t count them, I was too busy scoffing them. There are about 28 biscuits in the whole box (working it out from the calorie count).

Calories in Biscuits?

Who is counting! Well, for the record, they are about 83 calories per biscuit (one/day would be fine as a chocolate treat on a diet, just ONE mind!). The whole box contains 2344 calories, so I try to spread them over the week of Christmas.

Would I Recommend?

Yes, I’d definitely recommend these biscuits to anybody. They’re a good price and a darned good crunchy biscuit! I will be buying them every Christmas, every year I see them for sale!
