Triple Stack Crisp Wrap With Cheese

Triple Stack Crisp Wrap With Cheese

A triple stack crisp wrap with cheese is a crisp sandwich with cheese, but made with a soft tortilla wrap instead of bread, so you get three layers of filling instead of one! Not only does it make your lunch or snack more filling and a delight to eat, but I actually find these “cleaner” to make as bread can generate so many breadcrumbs to clean up after I’ve made a sandwich!

This simple way to make a triple stack wrap has been a winner in my house for many years, because it’s easy. I’m not overly bothered most of the time which way it ends up stacking itself, I know the 2nd quarter ends up in the middle…. I just don’t care most of the time as I’ll be eating all three layers at the same time.

How to Make a Triple Stack Wrap

  1. Slice from the middle of the soft tortilla wrap to the edge – this single cut enables you to create the wrap by folding the quarters over.
  2. Spread each quarter with salad cream, or mayo if you wish.
  3. Place fillings on each of the three remaining quarters.

  1. Start by folding the first quarter over the second quarter, then over the third quarter, finally over the fourth quarter. It’s simply three folds.

And that’s it. Eat!

This is a great quick snack, with the minimum of ingredients and fast to put together. Great for a packed lunch, picnic, or just a snack.

Sandwich Filling Variations

Sometimes I’ll throw in a little chutney, or sweet pickle. You can add mustard. It’s your wrap and you’re eating it, so fill it with your favourites, or just keep it simple!

Instead of using salad cream, you could add a dip or a spread such as hummus. Your choice.

I just like the simple life. Fewest ingredients, made fastest!
