Chicken & Stuffing Folded Flatbread

Chicken & Stuffing Folded Flatbread Wrap

Using an easily found supermarket pack of ready folded wraps, this is a simple and quick snack meal that I’ve eaten when I’ve only had a kettle and needed to eat! It can be adapted to fit into a pitta bread, or even a sandwich.

A chicken & stuffing sandwich can be a pricey item to buy and this is a budget-busting alternative, using store cupboard basics.

Ingredients:

Method:

Chicken & Stuffing Folded Flatbread Filling

Ideal if you’ve no access to a kitchen at all, or are in a hotel for work and a little short of funds to go out for food.

Costings:

For about £1.30 you can make 2-3-4 filled chicken & stuffing folded flatbreads (and still have a few flatbreads left over for other fillings!). Closer to 25-30p for a “sandwich”, rather than the £1.20-£1.50 for a supermarket ready made sandwich.

Cut Costs Further

To cut costs further, if you use sliced bread instead of a folded wrap, the cost is ~2p/slice instead of 11p for a folded wrap.
